Monday Jan 31

XC Ski (Skating) 31:00 [4]
5:43 - 6:14 Skiing with a head lamp - forgot how eerie that can be. LCD lamp really reflects off the snow.
Gunstock - about 10 minutes warmup, thn 2x hammered up the Cobble Mtn S curve hill (going counter clockwise). about 2:00 min each time. Wish I had a heart rate monitor...
Can feel the past few days skiing in my arms and pecs..

Sunday Jan 30

XC Ski (Skating) 1:10:00 [3]

Saturday Jan 29

XC Ski (skating) 1:15:00 [3]
warming up throughout the day, not very crowded at Gunstock, still some thin spots. Technique is improving a bit. Did quite a bit on hills. Arms still giving out first.

Wednesday Jan 26

Run (treadmill) 20:00 [2] 2.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
max:165
Got warmed up & broke a sweat

Monday Jan 24

XC Ski (Skating) 32:00 [4]
Some areas windblown - icy and rocks showing through. A few areas still soft, but generally good where it's had a chance to set up.
Up Trail 9, back loop, back on 8(?), reversed Cobble loop back in. Hit uphills pretty hard.

Sunday Jan 23

XC Ski (Skating) 1:20:00 [3]
About 12" of new snow at Gunstock - but very light and fluffy, packed down to about 2" of cover. Generally soft. Worked up a sweat, arms giving out.

Friday Jan 21

Run (treadmill) 15:00 [2] 2.0 mi (7:30 / mi)
max:178

Wednesday Jan 19

Run (treadmill) 30:00 [3] 2.7 mi (11:06 / mi)
max:165

Sunday Jan 9

XC Ski (Skating) 50:00 [3]
First day on the Gunstock trails after 2 snows of about 4 and 3 inches. Not too bad, some thin spots, some trails not open yet.
