| Snow shoeing at Ahern after I drove over to Gunstock to find they hadn't touched it yet. Guess they aren't interested in making any $$ from folks looking to ski when there's snow on the ground. Or providing service to season pass holders who expect some level of value. Kind of a sorry situation.
Snow shoeing was nice - first time I've been out this year. Crust in the open areas, but nothing in the woods. The trees must have caught the ice on the way down. Ran into an older guy dutifully packing down the inner trail - seemed like a regular who took this self-imposed responsibility seriously. |
