| Wicwas Lake off Meredith Ctr Road. Stiff breeze, so no bugs today. Quite a bit of chop, and caught lots of spray as I headed out - got soaked. Temps in the high 80s, so it felt pretty good.
Spent some time exploring the marsh off the NW corner - got quite a ways in. I think this was fed by a brook from the other lake (??) further W on Rt 104. Water veryhigh, so I was able to get into areas i normally wouldn't have been able to reach.
Went in early afternoon - we hosted an open house for Chris Dodd in the morning - up campaigning for the weekend. I really liked what he had to say, and how he said it, but I think the media has written him off. Certainly hasn't raised the big bucks of some of the other candidates.
