Saturday Jun 30

Orienteering 2:00:00 [2]
shoes: Falcon spikes 2007
Setting controls in the am before the Ahern event and picking them up afterwards. No FDFs, but plenty of mosquitoes.
The guy didn't open the gat until after 9:30, and with an announced start time of 10:00, I was getting a bit nerrvous.
Good turnout - a couple of families with small kids, a couple that came all the way up from Long Island just for the meet, and more of the regulars than I was expecting.

Was stressing sbout being totally unprepared most of the week ahead of time, but with being straight out at work, didn't have a lot of time to do more than feel stressed.

Things sort of peaked late on Friday, when just before going out to hang some controls, I realized I had more control locations than available flags. Some rapid course redesignm and deciding to use my mini-control flags for some of the very obvious locations, and things settled down.
