Gentle trail run at Ahern. Enough breeze to keep any flying critters at bay, a bit on the warm side, but tolerable.

Mostly on twisty bike trails, including a one that I've come across sections of before, but never run end-to-end. A lot of hairpins turns, mostly to head off to another section of woods with more small ups and downs and chances to go between trees. A lot of wet spots with all of the rains we've been getting.

Left upper arm has been bothering me - left over from trail work on the weekend???

More trail clearing on Mt Rowe. Parked down by the back gate, which was open with the SoulFest going on. Numerous folks camped in the overflow lot.

Lots of moisture on the grass with last night's rain. Feet were soaked most of the time.

Lots of cutting and hauling of sumac, with some small oak and a few pine boughs. Arms are trashed. Back is feeling it.

Most of the trails are now skiable / snowshoeable. Coud still do some more clearing on the uppermost part, but since that should just be a snowshow trail it's probably OK. Should also check out the direct-up-the-hill route that goes by the old off-load knoll.

Also need to lay out and mark the narrow trails for ski-o on the other side.
