Mt Flume and Mt Liberty with Jon.
From Flume parking lot, Whitehouse trail to Liberty Springs Trail. Forked off onto Flume Slide Trail and took that to the top of Flume - some very intense climb over wet slick steep ledge.
A few minutes on top of Flume, then over to Liberty. Down via Liberty Springs.

Saw quite a few folks - first decent day in a while, although thunderstorms were threatening later in the afternoon.

Had large back pack about 2/3 full - sort of a shakedown cruise. Got a few looks and questions - why so much stuff for a day hike? From past experience, would much rather have too much than too little up near tree line on a possibly borderline day. Pack felt good - rode well, seemed to have stuff adjusted well. I think I wore Jon out - I know I was dragging by the end of the day.
