3 PM

Kayaking 1:45:00 [0] 8.5 km (12:21 / km)

Didn't have my watch on, so distance estimated from hand drawn track on OCAD map.
There is a lot of lake at Pawtuckaway - lots of folks out on the water today and lots more hanging out at camps along the shore.
Moderate amount of powercraft - almost enough to be irritating - but most were well behaved.
HAd planned on a run or mtn bike ride prior, but it was hot and I'd hung out at my brother's chatting longer than I'd planned on.
Need to get back soon to flag controls for Camping Weekend - assuming the state will ease up. Given that they are allowing up to 1000 people into the park on a day pass basis, can't see any good rationale to not allow us. But then, mysterious indeed are the ways of NH Parks bureaucracy...

Mapping 4:51:42 [0] 6.92 km (42:09 / km) +78m 39:55 / km
shoes: Inov-8G Roclite 315 Gr-Blk

Plenty warm, but enough of a breeze to keep it in the bearable range. Bugs weren't too bad for the most part.

6 PM

Run 37:20 intensity: (4:46 @0) + (5:09 @1) + (14:03 @2) + (11:26 @3) + (1:56 @4) 5.0 km (7:28 / km) +2m 7:27 / km
ahr:134 max:161 shoes: Hoka Stinson ATR 5

Warm evening, but nice breeze down on the track by the lake.
4 lap warmup, then 5x200 w/ 200m walk between - 56, 57, 54, 53,55. then 2 lap cool down.
Not fast by any means, but then, all my running's been on trails with no speed work mixed in.
The Hoka Stinsons are not made for fast running - trail shoe with lots of padding.
LL coach pitch game going on - remember those days well.

Tuesday Jun 1 #

6 PM

Run warm up/down 5:24 intensity: (5:22 @0) + (2 @3) 0.48 km (11:15 / km) +3m 10:53 / km
ahr:104 max:111 shoes: Inov-8 OROC 280 V2 LTBlue-Purp

Warm enough, not humid, bit of a breeze.

Orienteering 1:28:59 intensity: (6:54 @0) + (27:12 @1) + (37:45 @2) + (17:08 @3) 6.24 km (14:16 / km) +154m 12:42 / km
ahr:131 max:152 shoes: Inov-8 OROC 280 V2 LTBlue-Purp

Course designed just prior to leaving the house from control location from this spring's BYOM courses. Started with the Red course and modified to remove some of the climb - but not all of it.
Some legs had considerable distance through very rocky underfoot and considerable fern cover.
