UNO Beaver Brook Red Course by Pete Bundschuh - very nice course.
Today was just one of those days that it all just fit together or almost. Minor brain cramp on the way to 1 - took the trail to the left just after the corner of the road - should have gone 50 meters straight, then the left. Some confusion when I saw as stone wall where it shouldn't have been and the hillside wasn't falling away on my left. Corrected OK, but lost a few seconds.
Was moving well for the most part. Really noticed on on the road run from 7 to 8- moving right along, no urge to slow down or walk a few steps.
Did well in the normally tricky hills to the W of the big marsh - some sub-optimal route choices, but recovered well and fairly precise into the flags.

Mostly run, but still a bit of hike on the steeper rocky parts. Gilford school fields, up through the Carye Forest parcel to the summit, down the Quarry Trail, back up Lakeview, then back down the Carye Trail. Cool and overcast, some sprinkles towards the end.

RV Farm trails - quite a few folks out there, many with dogs.
