Note

Control hanging (last 13 controls), marking out route to start (1500m) and running back (feeling pretty good), then a bit more relaxed waiting for first finishers!! Control collecting (only had to get 8 in)

All seemed to go ok and courses were well received I think.

Was hoping for a 60-minute winning time on course 1 and 54 on 2, so 58:52 and 51:50 wasn't too bad

Biggest complaint was the mud - couldn't do anything about that!!

Forgot to pick up off road shoes, so ended up doing a road loop - still enjoyable and it stayed dry
