Orienteering 52:33 [3] 8.2 km (6:25 / km) +306m 5:24 / km
ahr:168 max:181

Minchinhampton Common - Blue Course

Didn't feel great and running seemed extremely sluggish (lack of sleep and was probably a little stressed about potential house move/ work)

Too far right on 1 - 30 secs

Hesitant into 2-4

Very slow down slope to 8

16-17 got caught out by brambles and couldn't be bothered to try and fight through 10m or so to get onto road so stayed in woods (1 min)

4th - Well down on Tim B, Joe T and Pete W (all 45 something)

Viewed a house after - lovely setting with paths on to Stinchcombe Hill just a couple of hundred metres away for running/cycling - need to find out a couple of things first before making a decision (and assuming no one gets in first)

Orienteering race 1:00:58 [3] 8.77 km (6:57 / km) +211m 6:12 / km

Orienteering - Godshill, New Forest

Dreadful (one of worst events, if not worst event ever in New Forest - poor map, poor control site selection, poor control hanging)- ran blue as they did not have any Brown maps left - but probably glad I did

Probably 8-10 minutes of mistakes

Caught Colin Dixon at 9 and probably passed him another 6 times (and he wasn't clean either)

Still first - 3 mins ahead of Cecilie Andersen, 4 ahead of Mark Saunders and 17 ahead of Nigel Bunn!! got my 3rd highest ranking score in the last 12 months!!
