Saturday Sep 9 #

Orienteering race 58:21 [3] 6.91 km (8:27 / km) +370m 6:40 / km

Sheepscombe - Blue

Feeling a bit disinterested and lacklustre

Thursday Sep 7 #

Orienteering race 1:00:29 [3] 10.82 km (5:35 / km) +219m 5:05 / km

Chepstow Urban

Enjoyed the bit around the Town centre and good route choice leg across river.

Calf tight so taking it easy and lost loads of time trying to find control in woods - it was a bit hidden and couldn't work out paths - then lost more time trying to get out of woods and lost a bit of interest after that.

Could probably have done without one of the loops around the estates at top of hill after the woods, as was probably a bit long - especially for an evening urban in September and with the climb

Wednesday Sep 6 #

Run 31:39 [3] 6.11 km (5:11 / km) +87m 4:50 / km

Calf tester slow run with a quicker mile (6:06) thrown in

Calves still very tight, especially right one

Sunday Sep 3 #

Run race 1:01:30 [3] 12.36 km (4:59 / km) +366m 4:20 / km

Woodchester 8

Nice course, didn't notice rain and wind in woods - getting wet and cold at end, so didn't wait to see Dursley RC (inc, Tim Britton) get the team prize which originally was bottles of out of date non-alcoholic beer, which they exchanged for out of date cans of John Smiths - classy!
