Mynydd Y Garn - Brown

Good course, shame about my orienteering - although that was not helped by fact that for half the course I was out in rain and couldn't read the map (it was dry when started, so didn't take visor!!).... it is pointless trying to orienteer in he rain like this!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok to 1, fine to 2 until I was stupidly put off by Matt Whipple who started 4 minutes ahead of me and lost my bearing - from cairn..... 5 minutes lost here

Started raining around no.4 - lost time on 4 (30 secs), 5 (30 secs), 6 (5 mins) , 8 (2 mins)

Was going to give up at 9, but it stopped (for a bit)..... started agin around 12, where I lost 7 minutes..... ok to end running with Matthew Pembury and a jogging Marcu Pinker (who had a cold)

On the plus side the ankles seem a lot better with the orthotics..... back a it sore after, probably due to readjustment and shoes rubbing, but hopefully that will stop once I get used to them.
12 PM

Running warm up/down 5:05 [3] 0.88 km (5:47 / km)

Jog back from finish, some of the way with Matthew Pembery (new BOK member)
