Huron Peak with the boys. They did great. It's about the limit for Oliver, he was getting tired in the last mile when it got hot, but he was great up high. Xavier had a bit of a scary fall up in the talus at 13,500' when he caught a toe and flipped over head first. Luckily it was more spooky than harmful, just a scrape and a bump. Proud of the boys. And they were awesome all weekend for me, helpful with camp, etc.

So much better than yesterday, but still a good amount of soreness. More of a shuffle than a run. Right hammy has a bit of a knot. Not surprising giving the hard finish. Took an Epsom salt bath last night that was $$$. Again tonight.

Quite a bit of muscle damage from the race. Gonna take it super easy this week, barely anything. Might ride a time or two, but the primary focus is to let my body recover and heal. Plan to ease back in next week, and build a bit again before AC. Focus there will be mountains and heat, baby, heat.
