Lovely long run in Lunsen. The weather was beautiful. Legs were feeling pretty meh and I forgot my map so wasn't particularly fast but good fun all the same. Was mostly on medium to smaller paths and felt like I was going up and down loads. also the board walk parts were super slippy. Got a little lonely half way round so I put on a chapter of my swedish harry potter audio book on my phone. Had to stop and check where I was going like ten times around plantskolan.

First night o of the season. Made me VC remember for much I love night o. It's just so fun. Feels like an adventure. There were plenty of people around and I was running with people for a lot of it. One big mistake on 5 where I mistook what hill I was at. Ran up the hill beside it and then figured out what was happening. Lots of people were milling around so at least I wasn't the only one.

Another mistake on 20 where I climbed a bit too high and then had to double back. Otherwise though pretty clean and was reading the map well and was taking some of my own route choices and using the people around me well.

Had a nice little rest in the middle when we got sweeties from a very scary púca(Ross).

Run with a few from the club. Wasn't feeling it today however. Achilles were not doing their job for whatever reason. Had to feck off after an hour. Did another slow 20mins ish to try loosen them out but to no avail. Maybe my body was too cold?

As anyway spent the rest of the day doing stuff with roar for our 7th anniversary. Which was not too different from what we usually do. Hey, if its not broken don't fix it right?

Long run with a large group of line people. Felt super grand for most of it. The forest was looking really pretty and I just enjoyed it so much. It was nice to actually run with people and not feel under pressure to keep up for most of it. It was good to try and listen in to the Swedish conversations as well and see how much I could understand (not much). fell at around 17k and then at 18k just has nothing really left so dropped off the back.

25manna training with a pretty big bunch. Plan after looking at the course was to do one of the big loops and one of the smaller ones. Was in the bunch for one but had buff/emergency headtorch related problems so I was pretty much by myself. Got unsure of myself for no 2 close to it. I felt like I knew where I was but then some guy ran about 80degrees to me and I was worried he was coming from the control. Took a while to convince myself to trust my judgement and went and got the control. Bad in the circle for four and not the best route to 5. On the second longleg I did that thing with my ankle where my for bends up too far. Took a few seconds of being in agony and then was a bit disoriented after that. Regained control though but didn't quite have the confidence so was pretty slow. Provable had time for the other small loop but didn't want to make people wait.

Would go so far as to say that was almost a good run from me. Definitely reward cake worthy(it's a "new" incentive I'm currently trialing) which Ruairi obliged me with on the way home (kladdkaka <3). Getting the hang of this maybe.

Feeling a little chesty so didn't feel like the warm up cool down of the intervals would be helpful so I just did two laps of the elljusspår which is about 2.4km. Felt pretty good actually.

Super easy long run getting some hittauts in Stadskogen. I am really bad at seeing the hittauts. The ones in the forest are actually not too bad but the ones on stolpens are just so hard to find. Lovely day to be out. Perfect running temperature.
