Cycle in the lashings of rain. Wasnt going to but I was feeling depressed and I'd say thats partly due to my inactivity.... fairly beasted it...

Orienteering race 35:14 [3]

First half of race before I turned on my garmin...... scatter series event in ward river valley. I did the medium course. These were my mistakes
- I somehow got it into my head that I needed to get 15 controls not 12. This lost me 12.13.
-Following don to no 5..... oh dear..... lost about 5 mins (or more)
- I met this girl and she convinced me to go for no 10 and i stupidly thought it was a great idea. She also then started thinking we were a team or something and started talking to me. This was the point in which I realised I had breath enough for talking and therefore had forgotten that I was orienteering. I have absolutely no idea what I was thinking. Lost her fairly promptly though. lost 5 mins.... (or more)
Otherwise happy with my orienteering. the second half of my run will be uploaded separately. Made a few mistakes but was overall better than the first half.

Note

New thing to think on. Must trust my own orienteering. Its highly likely other people are gonna do it wrong....
