Note

still feeling pretty chesty. Getting to be a pain now but its not too debilitating. Gonna maybe run tonight and getting a lift to limerick tomorrow with Conor for a bit of sprinting fun.

Wednesday Feb 25, 2015 #

Running 28:00 [2] 4.8 km (5:50 / km)

Home from work. Working til 8:30. Getting really sick of doing other peoples work.

Tuesday Feb 24, 2015 #

Note

Woke up feeling really bad. sore throat, stiff neck, headache, rattly chest. Still doing intervals but will take tomorrow off probably

Running 13:00 [2] 2.1 km (6:11 / km)

Jog over to Irishtown

Running warm up/down 14:00 [2] 2.4 km (5:50 / km)

5x laps plus dynamic. Distance is a guess. Didn't have my watch. Time is from my phone so not crazy accurate

Running 24:00 [3] 4.38 km (5:29 / km)

Susan heard me coughing and said I wasn't allowed to do the session. She said I could jog though but nothing that interrupts my breathing. Just jogged home in the end. Peasant enough I suppose but not what I was jonesing for.

Note

I am never drinking the night before a race ever again. It was only 2 miles but I felt ill the entire way around. Wasn't running like myself at all. Half speed

Note

So even though I've only done 30km this week it feels pretty hard. Probably with the cross training and the swimming it amounts to like a 40km week.
10 AM

Running 4:19 [3] 0.63 km (6:52 / km) +3m 6:42 / km

Running race 15:51 intensity: (5:51 @4) + (10:00 @5) 3.28 km (4:50 / km) +15m 4:43 / km

Women's meet and train no4. (number 2 for me)

Bros Pearse were the organisers. Had a spot of bother finding the pace as there are two St. Endas in very close proximity to each other and Google only knows one.

Was a bit hung over but also just tired and dehydrated so was feeling pretty awful. Went out too hard then died for the rest of the race. felt really ill at points in the race and Emer passed me so I know I was not at my best. finished in 45th. Not happy with it but then again wasn't really that big of a deal. Possibly Portugal catching up with me a bit. There were loads of cakes and stuff afterwards but I had to shoot off for work (Ruairi the lovely man drove me there and to work) so only got a brownie. Probably didn't deserve more.
