Little jog in the morning to wake up my legs and more time in my insoles which still feel weird but again maybe a fraction better today

Head torch died from 2-7 when Santina gave me one of her kids ones. Was not a good course. some time at number 7 doffing my original torch and stashing it under the car and more at 10 when Roar gave me his.

Note

The inside of my lower leg is pretty sore. I suppose it's along the same lines as the pain I was having before but just deeper. Will have to check it out tonight. Might be a very short run...

Thursday night long(ish) run instead this week. Started with the Tibradden loop first and it was lovely going. Gertie was to my side/back going up the hill so that was a nice bit of help. Head torch was on the fritz going down and turned itself off in some very precarious places. Managed to get it to keep a bit steady on the way down. Passed the guys at zipit then headed up Cruagh.

Kept it pretty steady around but didn't go up to the top for fear of creasing myself on the boardwalk if my torch died again. Got back to the car and got the key to realise i'd only been 73 mins which really isn't enough so did some warm down
downhill fearlessness practice in the zipit area. Was good fun really. Calf really only started getting cross after I started the warm down.

Work -> Merrion Gates -> Sandymount -> Work

Foot still going a bit tingly with the insoles but getting better. Shoe felt less uncomfortable too. Progress I suppose. Pretty much exactly the same time as last time. Fixie Gina.

Have to do 30km this week for it to be my best January ever in terms of kms which is strange because I've been feeling like I'm really struggling at the moment. Obviously this day on day off thing is working for me if I'm feeling like I'm not doing that much mileage but going farther than I have before right?

Donadea event. Kept Hurting myself. I was so bored too after about half the course which really didn't help.
