Went for a walk with my Mam mam for a lap and then she left and I did 30 minutes. Could feel the wedding dancing in my legs for the whole thing. Comfortable high heels are still uncomfortable when you're jumping around the place. Nice to get out though. The Demesne was hopping! great to see it so packed with kids.
There were even a few runners and the thought did cross my mind "I was running here before it was cool."

Run around Russborough while Roar was doing his tempo session. Didn't feel like the foot was good enough to do anything quick so I just tried to focus on form and get my heels almost fully down in my stride. Very tight through the ankles at the beginning but started to loosen out throughout the run.
Feels like years since I've run on the flat! Quite an enjoyable run even if it was laps. They were long enough that it didn't feel too repetitive and the surface was lovely grassy path.

Orienteering near La Semnoz (can't remember the name of the map something like picault?) forest was nicer than expected but it took me a little while to understand how it was mapped. Didn't help that the map was 1:5000. I have never understood that scale in a forest. Just feels wrong.

Nice relaxed walk up Mont Granier. From far away it looks like a hecking scary mountain but it's actually a pretty chill walk. We got a beautiful day for it. Started early enough so we got some shade from the cliffs on the way up. Strava has me 4th(!?!?) female on the ascent 10 minutes down. If I'd known that I wouldn't have taken so many photos.
I love hiking :)

We went from the top to check out the cliffs at the end which looked pretty cool then back down to pretty much the col we came from on the way up and continued on the ridge and descended down Pas des Barres which had a little via ferrata type section but was completely grand in reality. The downhill after that was a little sore on my toes, I think my socks were a little big or maybe it was sympathy pain for Roar. Very cool hike.
