XC Skiing (skate) (Brule Birkie prep route) 3:03:41 [3] 23.1 mi (7:57 / mi)
One good/fast loop of Birkie pattern, second loop (same) temps up to 43 degrees so it was a mush, mash potato slog. Over 15 minutes slower. Purchased a new fat bike instead of new skis in my mind about 4 times during that loop! Unbelievable extremes within a 3 hour workout. Next up one more pattern loop next week or week after and should have distance element of training covered for Birkie.
