Plan was to take it easy this year. A 05:30:00 would be realistic I thought.
2015 24th 2016 54th!
D-CCol 47:33, 2016 47:10 ...moved into some space for a good run up
Bearnagh 01:24:48. 01:24:38 ...good run to Hares Gap, then nice climb
Meelmore 01:41:12, 01:43:58 ...slow Bearnagh descent, climb good
Fofanny 02:00:04, 02:06:12 ...slipped and slide, cautious run down to dam
Loughshannagh 02:30:25, 02:41:22 ...hateful! wasn't good in '15 bad in '16
Meelbeg 02:45:23, 02:58:04 ...not as bad as could've been (split time ok)
Meelmore 02:56:38, 03:11:01 ...again comparable (split time ok again)
Bearnagh 03:18:13, 03:33:58 ...a better split this year, better fueled I think
Commedagh 04:04:56, 04:27:11 ...a suffer fest in '15, enjoyed the view in '16

Finish 05:01:23, 05:29:59 ...slow off Donard, steps busy, took it handy and it was great that wee omreeve was there so she crossed her first finish line and was all smiles for her medal!
