...no Mourne Skyline, no yoga or gym classes for at least four weeks. Oonagh's drama class went ahead but wasn't compatible with orienteering on Divis. So much has been done by organisers and business owners to operate with Covid 19 and yet it seems that we can't live with it and follow simple instructions such as wash, face, space.

(rest day)

Monday's rest day has developed into a bit of a rest week. Feeling slightly burnt out. Really want to run the Mourne Skyline should it go ahead next week so this could be considered a form of taper. There's been obviously less racing this year but maybe too much training squeezed in around an increasingly busy family life and reduced recovery and rest. Resting heart rate has been up this week. Less deep sleep too.
