Hiking (Work) 3 [3] * 3.0 mi (3600.0 mph)

For work we did some field work at South Chagrin, on the APT, and another trail up by the Look-about-lodge (nature center which is not a nature center, go figure). I did not wear shoes after reading this article in Cleveland Fitness.
Barefooting is awesome!!!! I loved it!

Going to hike tomorrow morning, I might barefoot that as well!
4 PM

Note
(rest day)

So this week I kind of had a major fall through with the guy I have been so in love with, so I have been so unmotivated and depressed.
I should have kicked it all and hiked, and ran, and biked, the happy hormones would have helped, but UGH.
screw guys

meh

5 PM

Yoga warm up/down 10:30:00 [2]

Did 20 minutes of meditation.
I was sore from yesterday so I took it easy!
10 PM

Note
(rest day)

So I did yoga this morning, but it was fairly easy. I just really emphasized on stretching. My right upper thigh (near the knee) whatever hat muscle is called, was aching so i decided not to run today. Besides there is nothing wrong in taking a rest day right?

Tomorrow I plan to swim, and this upcoming weekend (May 1st get some biking in)!

Yoga warm up/down 2:00:00 [4]

This Yoga session was tough because my mom and I taught some new twists, and we also taught this really cool new "tree" pose which really stretches the legs, and makes you use your back and core muscles (reminds me a lot of figure skating).
3 PM

Hiking (Hike) 2:03:00 [3] 4.9 mi (2.4 mph)
shoes: Vasque Breezer

Hiked the Plateau Trail at the Cuyahoga Valley National Park with mom, Katha and Cricket (dog).

Cycling (Towpath) 2:00:00 [3] 18.0 mi (9.0 mph)
shoes: REEBOK

So I set out and biked for an hour and a 7 minutes and then I had completed 12 miles on the towpath (Peninsula, Ohio to somewhere after Jaite paper mill and back). Then I had a one too many beers (alone, boohoo I'm such a loser) at the Winking Lizard, and in my drunkeness I set out again and did another 4 miles (Peninsula to Boston store and a little beyond and back). Next time I will stick to one beer!
