Mtb Bike 1:30:00 [3] 9.0 km (6.0 kph)

Me and the boy headed out into the Don for a Sunday afternoon ride. Marshalling for the EcoRace, I found a nice kid friendly single track on the E side of ET Seton park that I knew he would enjoy up towards the science centre. We kept going and crossed the river and returned down the steep, not quite as kid friendly W side. Tough riding for anyone but he did what he could and walked the rest. Got most of the way along and came to a steep reentrant with an A frame ladder over a big log that he wanted to try (and the supposedly responsible parent may have encouraged this behaviour a little...). And he almost made it...before he stopped at the top, fell off and tumbled about 15 feet down the steep reentrant. Oops. Some tears, a sore wrist, and lost confidence, so we walked for a while, but he got back on once we got down to flatter stuff. Proud of him for trying it, and proud for pushing on.

Mtb Bike 1:30:00 [1] 14.0 km (9.3 kph)

Dist approx. Rode up to ET Seton Park to help with Eco Race. Put out a few more CPs and then rode around as a marshall for part of the race.

Orienteering 1:30 [2] 3.0 km (30 / km)

Helping 1L with TOC Eco Race by putting out CPs for S end of course. Orienteering in the dark, looking for small 3 inch ribbons was good fun. Kinda spooky in big city park all by my lonesome.

Mtb Bike 50:00 [4] 8.0 km (9.6 kph)

Quick burn around TOC Wed Night course to ensure ribbons still in place (some weren't).
