Nice sunny late fall day. Needed long sleeves, but otherwise a gorgeous day to be in the woods.
Ought to have been well rested, given my absolutely zero exercise for the previous week (stuck in meetings in Boston). But I never had any zip to the legs, not bad legs, just not good.
As for my O, much the same, not bad, just not very good either. Never did seem to get any flow. And one bad 3 minute mistake. For 7, decided to attack from 4. Crossed the trail at the water stop, as planned and then said "Good! Now just scoot over to 4, you've been there already, this will be trivial." But somehow missed it well right, and floundered around on the larger spur behind 4, before finally cluing in to what I'd done. Ugh.
Final doofus move. On the long run in from the go control, caught a toe, and full speed face plant. Bashed hard yet again my left knee, which is really getting fed up with me. I need to do better job at distributing my bruises.
