Drizzle to start, solid steady rain by the end. But the woods were nice, terrain fun, and I was warm enough as long as I kept moving.

Figured I might be able to just clear the course in 90 minutes, and set off with that as a goal. But that quickly went out the window because my nav was just terrible. After only 30 minutes I decided more practice was more important than points, and I put away the watch knowing a negative score was a definite possibility. In the end managed to stay above zero, but I'm pretty sure I crushed the competition for the most penalty points.

On the plus side, legs felt good. Now if I could just keep them pointed in the right direction...

Gorgeous fall evening. Body wasn't really up for this, but it sure was nice out there, and I felt much better after than before.

Last of the season, ate too much pizza, but "free food" is very tough for me to resist. Which reminds me of the coffee cake left in the break room earlier in the day ... mmmm, coffee cake ...
