Nice summer day, ie, a regular summer day from years past. Now a rare treat. Left leg wasn't happy, outside calf and hamstring.

It was hot and stupid humid at registration. But just as the race started, a storm pocket arrived, which turned out to be wonderful. Strong cooling winds appeared, that mostly pushed in the right direction. Not to mention the entertainment value of trees breaking, lightning booms, and spooky scary clouds.
