Did NOT want to do this run! I really struggled, I wanted to stop and do a quarter, then half, then I finally decided I would finish it.

8 min slow at 6.2 mph (9:40 m/mile)
4 X :15 sec strides
20-50 min 1 min @ 6.3 mph (9:31 m/mile) at 9% and 1 min @ 6.3 mph (9:31 m/mile) at flat
10 min easy bw 6.3 mph - 7.0 mph

Sooooo glad I stuck with it. I don't know why that was so hard!!!

I worked from midnight to 8am then off I went on my run. I don't know how I did it, but I did. Amazing run. Felt awesome. Didn't make it to start so a few of us had to run and catch up, we averaged the first 4 miles at 8s. I was afraid that was going to hurt me but it didn't. I then ended running the last 4.5 miles between 8:30 m/miles and 7:30 m/miles. Unbelievable! I felt very strong and the finish and great overall.

The time is with a 25 min break and about a 10-15 min break. I forgot my watch and Garmin at home so I had to rely on others watches.

Okay, haven't been following schedule, missing my intervals. Decided I needed to do them, I knew I couldn't run them on the treadmill and I knew I shouldn't.

17:30 warm up (slow)

17:30 - 25:26 1st mile (7:56 m/mile)
25:26 - 27:30 (2 min break - slow)

27:30 - 35:08 2nd mile (7:38 m/mile)
35:08 - 37:00 (2 min break - slow)

37:00 - 44:48 3rd mile (7:48 m/mile)
44:48 - 47:00 (2 min break - slow)

47:00 - 54:36 4th mile (7:36 m/mile)
54:36 - 57:13 (2 min break - slow)

57:13 - 01:04:55 5th mile (7:42 m/mile)
01:04:55 - 01:18:57 cool down (slow)

It felt better as I went along. I felt heavy and sluggish. Really glad I forgot my Garmin and did this by feel. It gave me a good indication of where I'm at and how hard I needed to push.

All odd miles were rolling uphills, all evens were rolling downhills - hence the pace. Very small rolling hills. Glad to be done!
