7 PM

Run (Treadmill) 40:00 [3] 4.5 mi (8:53 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Os Racers

I lied to my friends about having stuff to do before going out for drinks. Okay, I didn't necessarily lie, but I didn't tell them that I had to go to the gym. I just felt like I was going to explode from not running.

Easy 40 min run but soooo happy to do it!!

8 PM

Run (Treadmill) 42:00 [2] 4.55 mi (9:14 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Os Racers

Didn't have much time, so I just went slow, relaxed, tried to make sure I didn't push since I'm waiting for my legs to recover, they're still pretty tight and a little sore.

Cross-fit (Yoga) 1:00:00 [3]

Okay, went for a massage yesterday because I could barely walk! I think, no, I know, I completely overdid it on Thursday, wow!

The massage helped a bit but the yoga helped a little more this morning.
11 AM

Run (Treadmill) 35:00 [3] 3.09 mi (11:20 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Os Racers

Okay, after yoga I jumped on the treadmill and started walking, it was the least I could do. It hurt soooooo much!

I did the following:

2:30 min - walk at 3.5 mph
7 min - run at 6.2 mph
2 min - walk at 3.5 mph
10 min - run at 6.2 mph
8 min - run at 6.2 mph
5:30 min - walk at 3.5 mph

My quads are just crushed! My cardio was fine but the muscles were just completely fatigued.

Every time I feel like I'm getting back on track, something happens!

This week is going to be crazy, hotel in NYC on Wed night and I have to work the whole weekend. Argh!!!!

10 AM

Cross-fit 59:50 [5] 2.0 mi (29:55 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Os Racers

Holy smokes! That workout kicked my ass!! Wow!!! That's what I get for starting back up with crossfit on Thanksgiving Day!

1 mile run

100 pull ups (blue band)
200 push ups
300 air squats

1 mile run

I know my legs are very weak, so my legs were the most shot! Don't get me wrong, my arms are still pretty beat up but I think I'll be lucky if I can walk tomorrow.

Run (Treadmill) 1:00:00 [2] 5.77 mi (10:24 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Os Racers

Hilly run. Same as usual, increase of 1% for decrease of .2 mph.

A little more difficult than usual but got it done!

Sunday Nov 18, 2012 #

4 PM

Run (Treadmill) 40:00 [2] 4.1 mi (9:45 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Os Racers

I had to get out and do something. The gym closed on me, I left my camel bak in Seattle and I'm full of excuses! :-(. I ran an easy run.

9 AM

Run (Outside) 10:31 [5] 1.5 mi (7:01 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Os Racers

PT test today! I was not looking forward to this! I didn't do as well as I would have liked, however considering how lousy my running has been recently, I didn't do as terrible as I probably should have. I also have this cough that didn't help! :-(

43 push-ups
84 sit-ups (blah!)
1.5 mile run in 10:31

5 AM

Run (treadmill) 1:00:00 [3] 6.37 mi (9:25 / mi)

I'm not sure how I got up for this. I did a slow, even hour run.

Tuesday Nov 13, 2012 #

5 AM

Run (Treadmill) 1:00:00 [4] 6.92 mi (8:40 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Os Racers

Great run! I did Run 2 from a couple weeks ago.

5 min warm up
30 min at 9:13 @ 3% (survivable)
25 min at 8:06 @ flat

Not enough time to do 30 min at the end, but I definitely could have done that, awesome run!

Run (Outside) 1:16:53 [3] 6.81 mi (11:17 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Os Racers

I'm home! Yay! I went out to Pt. Defiance and ran the rolling hill trails with my dog. It was great, amazing actually. It was a beautifully sunny day, the trails were gorgeous, the water looked majestic. It will be so nice to come home! Kodi (my dog) was happy too! Although, she didn't know what she was in for. A little longer than her regular 20 min, but somehow she survived. :) There were lots of stops because I tried to keep her off-leash in a leashed area, so I had to grab her when we passed people, more for their sake then hers. She's actually very friendly and just wants to play but I respect people's dog fears.

Run (Outside) 1:16:22 [3] 8.4 mi (9:05 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

Joined the Marathon for Relief, cancelled ING New York City Marathoners who decided to run and donate their time in Hurricane Sandy affected areas that couldn't get vehicles in. We volunteered in Coney Island.

It was very worth it! I didn't run as much as I should have but I was glad to have gotten out. It was freezing! It was windy and made me grateful for having only lost heat and hot water during the storm. These people had their homes utterly destroyed! It was so sad.

My brother and friend (coworker) biked the 8.4 miles while I ran. We spent several hours walking through the neighborhood delivering supplies, then we headed back to the subway (about 3 miles away), back to Manhattan to pick up my car, then back home to New Jersey.
3 PM

Walk (Outside) 1:00:00 [3] 3.8 mi (15:47 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

All the walking around we did while delivering supplies and back to the subway. Not bad. No wonder I was sore today! I'm not used to fast walking!

I didn't think I could hold it but I made it! Great run! This should really help my PT test next Friday. Run was awesome!
