Run (Treadmill) 1:00:00 [3] 6.9 mi (8:42 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Os Racers

Good run, how I had energy for a tempo run, I don't know. I ran 15 min at about 8 mph (7.5 min/mile). It was better than nothing and it felt good.

Run (Outside) 13:31:03 [3] 9.22 mi (1:27:58 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Os Racers

After twenty-something hours of flying, I need to run as soon as I arrive in any city. It's a beautiful, unbelievably gorgeous day here in Copenhagen, wow! About 75 degrees, I'm exhausted but I have to get out. I ran up the water on the "boardwalk" for about 4 - 5 miles, then meandered my way back down the city, went south past my hotel and then back up to it.

What an awesome run!! It's supposed to run the rest of the week :(

Run (Treadmill) 50:00 [3] 5.32 mi (9:24 / mi)

Good energy, feeling like I'm coming down with something, I'm sure it's because of all this go, go, go!

10 AM

Run (Treadmill) 1:03:00 [3] 6.65 mi (9:28 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

Tons of energy! It helps to sleep 10.5 hrs. I left my phone, therefore my schedule, at home. So, I tried to remember what I had read, the only thing I could remember was the brutal 8% and normal pace.

13 min warm up at 6.2 mph flat
4 flat strides @ 11.0 mph

6 X the following:
3 min @ 8% @ 6.2
2 min flat @ 6.2 mph

4 min cool down BW 6.2 mph - 6.6 mph
6 min at 6.6 mph flat

Great run!

Run (Outside) 8:31 [3] 1.0 mi (8:31 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

I knew I had no time today! I figured 5-10 min was better than nothing, since Saturday was not going to work!

Wednesday May 16, 2012 #

5 AM

Run (Treadmill) 53:00 [3] 5.25 mi (10:06 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

I forgot to do the 60 min run yesterday as a hill run, so I did. That was tough! I haven't done that run in a long time, it felt good though.

Run (Treadmill) 1:07:00 [3] 7.29 mi (9:11 / mi)

I can't believe how long it's been since I've run! 3 days, that's a little out of control. 4 strides at the end felt great!

5 PM

Run (Treadmill) 47:00 [3] 4.97 mi (9:27 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

I did this run with 4 flat sprints, felt good, not very motivated.

Thursday May 3, 2012 #

7 PM

Run (Treadmill) 45:00 [2] 4.91 mi (9:10 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

Pretty easy run, not breathing hard at all, still a little fatigued but not bad. 4 strides at the end felt cardio easy but fatiguely difficult... make sense?

Mentally I'm doing very well, aside from the depression of returning from Florida to rainy and 50 degree NY.

6 PM

Run (Outside) 34:19 [3] 3.23 mi (10:37 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

Feeling good but tired, just plain fatigued. Breathing hard at the beginning and it's interesting because I know it's not from lack of cardio but just pure fatigue.

My legs feel much better today. Yesterday, they were just sore but no real pain. I got a massage last night, and it helped A LOT! My right knee was feeling a little pain today, I'm wearing a new pair of shoes - I don't know if I'll like them, so I'm trying them out (Brooks Cascadia Trail).

Didn't want to push too much because my PT test is on Friday, I need to save my energy for that, the little bit I have.
