Run (Outside) 3:00:00 [3] 19.01 mi (9:28 / mi)
shoes: Asics 2170 (Jan 12)

Great run! Lots to tell.... will have to be later.

Okay, here it is. At first I was thinking this would be somewhat of an interesting run. Then as I got started, I began to not like the walking part, I was supposed to hold 9 m/miles on the run part. It was difficult to hold and I kept going too fast. Until I decided that I was working harder to go slow at 9 m/miles than had I just ran what I thought was comfortable even if it was 8:30 m/miles or 8 m/miles or whatever. I started feeling fatigue at mile 12, so I just kept it comfortable regardless of pace, plus I knew I was doing hills.

This is what the result was:

Mile 1 - 9:34
Mile 2 - 9:32
Mile 3 - 8:29
Mile 4 - 9:28
Mile 5 - 9:25
Mile 6 - 8:26
Mile 7 - 8:57
Mile 8 - 7:58
Mile 9 - 10:00
Mile 10 - 10:17
Mile 11 - 8:38
Mile 12 - 8:55
Mile 13 - 8:54
Mile 14 - 10:51
Mile 15 - 10:17
Mile 16 - 10:34
Mile 17 - 9:21
Mile 18 - 10:00
Mile 19 - 10:34

Run (Treadmill) 1:26:00 [3] 10.14 mi (8:29 / mi)
shoes: Asics 2170 (Jan 12)

Amazing Run!!! (<-- lots of inflection) :)

Hard but not too hard, just right. I feel like I have finally turned the corner. I feel like I'm finally getting into shape. The strides on this run helped so much. It wasn't an easy run but it was a run that was hard enough to be tough, but easy enough to power through. Make sense?

0 - 2.19 miles easy at 6.2 mph (warm up)

2.19 - 3.23 miles @ 7:35 min/mile (forgot & passed the 1 mile marker, oops!)
3.23 - 3.45 miles @ 10 min/mile

3.45 - 4.45 miles @ 7:35 min/mile
4.45 - 4.68 miles @ 10 min/mile

4.68 - 5.68 miles @ 7:35 min/mile
5.68 - 5.90 miles @ 10 min/mile

5.90 - 6.90 miles @ 7:35 min/mile
6.90 - 7.12 miles @ 10 min/mile

7.12 - 8.12 miles @ 7:35 min/mile
8.12 - 10.14 miles BW 10 - 8:35 min/mile (cool down)

shoes: Asics 2170 (Jan 12)

Not feeling like running at all... going with shortest run left. Didn't want to do a hard run before my long run but oh, well, I'm going with how I feel rather than what I should do.

Run (Treadmill) 52:00 [3] 5.52 mi (9:25 / mi)
shoes: Asics 2170 (Jan 12)

Feeling tired. I tried something different, I did the first two strides at 15 min, but I just wasn't feeling warmed up. I think it was because I knew that I didn't have to do a hard run. Then at 44 min I did the next two strides, I felt much better after that. I felt a little loser and with more energy.

Run (Treadmill) 1:21:00 [3] 8.58 mi (9:26 / mi)
shoes: Asics 2170 (Jan 12)

Great run! Very difficult though. I definitely feel stronger on the hills, I also feel like the little 45 min hill run that I do on my own where I run a very comfortable pace on hills has made me enjoy the hills and it seems like it's making hills easier. Call me crazy!

15 min warm up @ 6.2 mph

3 min @ 9:40 on 9% incline
3 min @ 9:31 flat

3 min @ 9:40 on 9% incline
3 min @ 9:31 flat

- okay, that was all I could do at 9% -

3 min @ 9:40 on 8% incline -----\\\\\\\\
------------------------------------------------------for the next 4 reps
3 min @ 9:31 flat---------------------////////

- last interval -

1 min @ 9:40 on 9% incline
1 min @ 9:40 on 8% incline
