Great run! It was windy and the cold. The wind chill had it down to 9 degrees today! Ugh!!!

I took my Camelbak to the gym and ran on the treadmill, pretty lame, huh? Yeah, I think so too.

I ran nice and slow but starting at 10 min I did rolling hills, as run #1 was described. I increased the incline consistently the first hour, then I changed it up a bit. I was trying to simulate real outdoor running. However, I kept it at 6.2 mph the entire run.

0-10 min flat @ 6.2 mph

I did run #2 today, I slept 11 hrs last night so I had great energy today! Wow, amazing run!

0-5 min warm up @ 6.2 mph
5-8 min (trying to get up to 6.6 mph before starting the marathon pace)
8-11 min @ 6.4 mph
11-12 min @ 6.5 mph
12-15 min @ 6.6 mph

15-60 min @ 7.4 mph
60-65 min @ 7.5 mph
65-70 min @ 7.6 mph
70-75 min @ 7.7 mph

I felt awesome! I could have just kept going!

Good energy this morning. I did run #3 this morning, or tried to, I'm still behind on my incline paces.

15 min Easy @ 6.2mph
5 min of 4 strides @ 11.0 mph / rest @ 6.3 mph

So, instead of 2 min of incline running and 2 min of rest, I did 1:30 min of incline and 2:30 min of rest

1:30 min @ 8% @ 6.6 mph (9:05 m/mile)
2:30 min flat @ 6.6 mph (9:05 m/mile)

5 min cool down @ 6.2 mph

Good energy this morning! I feel like I'm recovering from my long exhausting weekend.

I did a hilly run and got up to 14% incline, which I usually don't do.

Completely drained. I'm eating the same so I know it's not that, only got 4 hrs 44 min of sleep, so that with 22 miles on Sunday must be wearing me out! Phew, I was lucky just to hang onto 6.2 mph the whole time!

Cross-fit 15:00 [4]

Tough little workout, :30 sec of strength training exercises (push-ups, squats, leg liftst, etc.) glad to be doing this!
