Run (Treadmill) 31:00 [5] 4.0 mi (7:45 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Os Duomax Trainers

Did the 4 mile test on the treadmill today.

I warmed up by walking to .80 miles, I did 2 strides at 10 mph. Then I completely stopped and started the 4 mile run.

I started at 7.0 mph

- at every .25 miles, I increased by .1 mph

- at 3.50 miles, I started increasing at every .10 miles by the same .1 mph

- at 3.85 miles, I started increasing at every 2 min by the same .1 mph

- at 4.00 miles I dropped to 6.0 mph and finished at this pace for .50 mile

It felt super tough! Wow... at about 3.25 I started breathing super hard, like I do when I run the 1.5 mile PT at work.

Hike (Outside) 4:04:00 [2] 8.02 mi (30:25 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Os Duomax Trainers

Slow uphill hike with a light pack.

Kodi absolutely loved it. My Garmin died before I finished but I calculated based on the average before it died and on the roundtrip distance.

Good hike but I would have liked to have gone faster and really pushed it, but I was with a friend and it was more of a catch up, we only get together to hike or snowshoe. I couldn't snowshoe, unfortunately not enough snow. A lot of snowshoers up there but they didn't get a chance to use them because of the lack of deep snow, there was maybe only 8 inches or so.

My legs hurt so bad after the hike, lots of soreness, took some advil and it felt much better this morning.

Note
(rest day)

No run today, had to be at work super early and I ran all week so I felt it okay to take a break today.
