Took Kodi for an afternoon walk! She was pretty tired, I guess 74 years old does that, I tell her if she had run more in her younger years she'd be doing much better, but she didn't listen. :)

That was pure torture!! I tried to get my 3 hr run in on the treadmill, my goodness - if the Chinese only knew what secrets a treadmill could illicit, they would know everything!

Actually, I was aiming for 4 hrs but 3:10 was all I could squeeze out.

Run 3: On the treadmill, run for 50:00 at normal easy pace, but each 5:00, crank the incline up to 4% and run the same pace but uphill for 1:00. Then lower it back down and continue till the next hill starts. If feeling really good, stretch to 1hr.

Okay, so I went a little longer. Bratislava Marathon is in less than a week and I feel like I'm trying to make up! Oops.

Hard run yesterday so easy day today. I went out with Ales today. I ran 2 miles before meeting him and then I met him for 4 and then 4 on my own at the end! He pushed the last 3/4 of a mile of his run, which was good for me because I still put in for another 4 afterwards.

Not feeling it today. :(

Bratislava Marathon is right around the corner and I haven't done squat! Yikes!

Run 3: Hill Cruise intervals on treadmill. After the normal 15:00 easy run warmup and a few flat strides, the workout is 6 x 5:00 with a 2 minute recovery consisting of easy flat running between each. Do two reps at each of the hill combos (4, 6 and 8%).. Cool-down with another 15:00 of easy running.

Tough climb, TM is all screwed up so I figured out I could place the back part on a yoga mat and a carpet and it's closer to level. Although, for today's workout I was able to do the 2x4% and the 2x6% with the incline already up but I went ahead and leveled it so I could finish the workout and do the 2x8%.
