Middle distance on the long challenge. Tried running in my glasses as I have serious problems reading the map with all the sand dunes, but they just kept sliding off.
Will deffo have to do something about getting contacts.

Messed up only the first control, but didn't manage to beat my run-in time from yesterday.

Portugal! Hadn't pre-entered as I did't know how good my knee would be, so just did the 'Long Challenge'.

The only thing letting me down was my speed, which I can work on, and my navigation was pretty clean.

Super fun, mega hot and some serious celebrity spotting.

Went to Glentress Forest with some people from the cycling club and hired a mountain bike for the day.
It was so much fun! I was almost getting the hang of downhills by the end of the day.

Never again will I make fun of padded shorts.

Training on Holme fell. Started half way round the long course and did trains with Lauren then set out to do the middle but got too cold just walking so came back

Running to the car park at Holme Fell and back afterwards. Knee seems to have held up all weekend, but should probably give it a few days rest now

Spent the morning in Torver Common and the afternoon in Haverig. Ran for about an hour in total, but walked quite a bit too.

So ill. Think I have some sort of chest infection or virus, I can't remember the last time I felt this ill.
