Slightly sore shins, probably no thanks to wearing heels all yesterday evening...

Jog from Hectors around the seat before intervals and then back once we had finished

Long run in the Pentlands. Took longer to get there and back than it actually did to run due to Toni's map memory.
Good terrain running though, v. tussocky and my heel didn't hurt at all :D

recovery reduced to 60 seconds this week.

Long bike ride today instead of going on the long run - don't want to risk making my foot worse.

Cycled along the canal, turned off along the river to Currie, up and over the Pentlands to Flotterstone and back into town.

Jogging down to the meadows & did some drills beforehand, jogged back home and included 6 sprints

The usual session today, but with 70 seconds recovery instead of 90.

2 x 2km - 9.49, 10.04
3 x 1km - 4.35, 4.32, 4.33
One day I will learn to love this session.....

No pain in my heel when I was running, very good indeed :)

Was going to go for a long bike ride but got about 10m down the road before I realised I had another puncture in my back tyre, so went to the gym instead.

Jogged down to the gym and back as walking seems to take a million times longer then cycling or running. Wore trainers and was pain free :)

Was going to go and run Toni's night race on Blackford but it was too painful to even walk down the hall in my running shoes.
Tried running in my trainers and my heel doesnt hurt at all which was odd.

So went for a run around the mean streets of Marchmont instead and did some drills and strides in the meadows.

Going to see if I can get a physio appointment soon though

Advanced circuits. Pumping out some major excersises to a bit of remixed Scooter and Bonnie Tyler. Monday evenings don't get much better than this.

Set off for a run this evening but only got half way round the meadows before my heel was too painful to run on. Hobbled/shuffled back as it was just as painful to walk as it was to jog.

While doing the coaching course I got this really bad pain in my achillies which I thought was from wearing walking boots for 2 days but it was just as painful in trainers.
Doesn't seem to hurt unless I'm wearing shoes though.

Went for a long run around the Peak District somewhere.... Wasn't supposed to be out for this long but got a bit lost on some major moorland and it took me quite a while longer to get back to the car than I thought it would.

Did a quite a bit of running on roads too but feeling fantastic after having a rest day yesterday and still feeling good at the end of the run :)
