Did some back & front crawl which is why I took a while.

Lowered the average age of the Ilkley swimming pool users by about 50 years.

Went for a bike ride up the Dales with mum - up to Barden Towers and back via the Beamsley Hill. Had to keep waiting at the top of every hill though...

Went down to the swimming pool this morning to do a nice long swimming session only to find I had horrendously mis-timed it and had ended up in the family fun splash session.

Had to give up after 40 minutes as I kept getting hit on the head by floats and small children.

10 x 3 minute intervals with 1 minute recovery between each one and 2 minutes half way through. Was hard.

20 minutes warm up/down

Took me 32 minutes to do 50 lengths today, not so good. Although I think I may have miscounted at some point when someone accidentally grabbed my leg and I inhaled a lot of water.

Morning swim. Managed 50 lengths in 30 minutes today, didn't stop once. Was gooooood.

Cycled out to Crammond and was going to carry out along towards the Forth Road Bridge, but took the wrong path and ended up in a small wood with lots of steps up cliffs.
Just did a loop around Crammond and came back again.

Basil almost fell off my bike and I had to be re-attached using a hair bobble.

Went to the gym after my lab this afternoon. I have made a note never to go again at this time, it was disgustingly busy with people who carry their phones and bags around with them and never get sweaty or mess up their hair.

Set off this morning to collect the FWTN controls from yesterday but my left shin was so painful I had to walk the whole way. It took me ages and it was snowing.

SOL 1 at Dalzurian. Most minging area I have run in since the last time I ran there.

Made a huge mistake at number 11 and lost motivtion from then on.

My shins were more painful today, so will take a few days off runnning,
have maybe done too much too soon.

Scottish Sprint Champs.
Lost some time looking for number 2 (which had been stolen) and didn't read control discriptions carefully enough and went the wrong side of features a couple of time, but apart form that it was quite a good race.

Also, practised planning ahead and mase sure I had a plan for the next leg before leaving every control.

Went training in the afternoon at some wood somewhere.... Did a reverse chasing start thing with the other girls but got left behind pretty quickly.


Cut the course a bit short as my shins were a little sore form running on the roads this morning

Warm up and down jog with Bex at the sprint race and then joggin to the top of the hill for the afternoon training

Warm up before FWTN and then a mad run to the bus stop to catch a bus. Missed it though.

Orienteering 33:43 [3]

FWTN at Herriot Watt University. Really good course planned, kept you think about route choice and planning ahead the whole time.

Cut the course short though (number 13) as I didn't want to get back too late. Also my calves were a little tight form running hard surfaces.

Run down to the meadows, did some drills and jogging home again

Running (Intevals) 38:00 [4]

Intervals - went a little crazy and did something different as Toni wasn't there so did 6 x 1km with 90 seconds rest.
Times were:
4.19, 4.20, 4.23, 4.24, 4.32, 4.35

Getting quite slow towards the end, especially on the last two but for some reason my socks were rubbing and I now have blisters on the inside of my foot arch.
