UK Cup Final. Mass start, Blodslittet style with 2 small gaffled loops, then one long loop. Such good fun, despite the fact that I had had only 4 hours sleep.

Went with Floz to lunchtime spinning. BRILLIANT. Super pumped after meeting Chris Hoy.

Went early to do a bit extra warm up

Usual session, but a slightly shorter circuit. Finished with some killer ab work which luckily involved a lot of lying on the floor.

Got the bus out to the Pentlands. Ran from Flotterstone, up the first two hills, turned around and came back.

Getting some major chug on and was still going no where.

400, 600, 800, 800, 600, 400 with 90 seconds recovery

15 minute warm down

Decided to shake things up and went to the evening spinning session. Won't be doing that again.

The instructor was an actual nut job. I'm pretty sure he thought he was a Gladiator. Involved a lot of "Are. You. Readyyyyy?" and grunting.
