I never EVER though i would be putting Cycling on my Training log, but here i have. Richard has convinced my to take part in a 25km AR next month, so today was my first real cycle ever. Nothing too hardcore, juts getting used to being on a bike. Rode around Delta. (and a few laps of Richard's Garden)

Orienteering race 25:06 [5] 3.2 km (7:51 / km) +45m 7:20 / km
spiked:12/15c shoes: Inov8 Mudroc

Ran First Leg for AR club at the GOC Relay. Had a great start holding off Jess and Paul to the 4th control. We all punched 4 and 5 in the wrong order but they corrected quicker than i did so i dropped back to 4th behind them and Nic Mulder. My early efforts began to toll on me round the next few but over took Paul at about #9 after he messed something up, but i made a horrid choice into #12 getting stick in horrible green and lost about 5 minutes over that and the next one leaving me down into 7th by the transition and about 6 minutes off the pace. Stijn pulled us back to 5th and Garry finished strong into 4th about a minute or less off RAC-O men (and only just ahead of RAC-O women).

(didnt get map back, so cant remember exact time or distances)
