Running warm up/down 20:00 [2]

Orienteering 1:27:00 [4]

JK Long. Really enjoyed it. Made a few small mistakes... at 5 I was a little low and couldn't see a distinctive tree amongst all the other trees (2 mins), failed to find the path to 6 (1 min), got very confused between what was mapped as a path and a ride on the way to 10 and overshot (1 min) and a strange route through the bushes to 16 (1 min). General running speed a bit off the pace of the people ahead. Could probably do better if I did some speed training especially on such a fast area.

Running warm up/down 15:00 [2]

Orienteering 39:15 [4]

JK Middle. Looking forward to this after Hambledon, however got a bit excited about being in such nice runnable terrain again and only started reading my map after control 10 when I had spent a bonus total of 4 and a half minutes running round in circles! Once I started navigating the rest went really well and felt pretty speedy for once!

Running warm up/down 12:00 [2]

Orienteering 18:07 [4]

JK Sprint. Bit out of practise with sprint o and took a few non-optimum routechoices. Quite clean though until 22 when I didn't notice the second set of stairs on the map - lost 20 secs. Enjoyable and didn't feel too bad when trying to run hard.

Running 1:18:49 [3]

Run round Thorney Island on the coast path from grandparents house. It's a military base so you have to press a button on a gate halfway down the island on each side to call the MOD who let you through. Nice mix of path, shingle, sand and dunes however got to the second gate and the MOD didn't respond, tried lots but had to give up and run back to the sailing club. Started running back along the road but then a car came and managed to hitch back. Nice to run somewhere so flat. I've missed the sea!
