A litle longer than usual because we did the second half of the course

Counties at Parma. So we started out with a 5:53 mile. Idk if it was all necessary but we had to live with that and it kinda made for the hardest mile to be first in my opinion. Then Lizzie gave us a scare, but we lost her (even though I didn't really know that until we finished). Eileen O'Hara was right behind us somewhere right before the 2 mile which also kind of scared us. I kept falling behind Val and then sort of catching back up but this race was extremely hard fo me. I'm kind of mad at myself for letting Autumn and Kennnedy get in between Val and I but I guess that'll be my goal at sectionals. For that not to happen. I came in 8th and Val came in 6th. Our team overall didn't do as well as hoped but now we have a goal for next week.

After the race my achilles hurt again so it hurt during the cool down. I guess the adrenaline took care of it during the race.

Decided to take the day off of running and just xtrain. My achilles feels a lot better than it did yesterday after practice.

Yeah I went to the trainer. Achilles something ankle tendon up the shin something...I got it wrapped, iced it and will probably swim tomorrow. The wrap may have helped a little. And I also left my phone in the trainers office, and she picked up when we called it after practice. haha that was kinda funny.

3:17, 3:15, 3:15, 3:12, 3:37, 3:17 I'm not actually sure about the times and we sorta had to work around the muddiness of this course. I guess I'll see the trainer tomorrow about my ankle. I'm pretty sure it's my achilles and I'm icing it right now but it is still bothering me. Hopefully I can run but I may have to swim tomorrow or something just to make sure it's all good for counties. Better safe than sorry and have this affect the rest of the season.
