Running Rough 43:00 [2] 6.0 km (7:10 / km) +200m 6:09 / km

Run in Lighthouse Park. Slippery and slow trails. The wasp-poisoned nerve was burning and hurting, but after warming up it was tolerable. Felt the remnants of last week's cold in the chest. Out of shape right now.

Floorball 1:00:00 [3]

Floorball. Mix of people of very different skill today made for bad flow of play. Hard to get any sort of decent passing going. But got to do some running around, stick handling and shooting.

Nice to get going with something again after being sick and dealing with this weird after affect of the wasp stings. One sting got me on the inside ankle, right on the bone, and ever since I have this burning nerve for every running step. Bizarre! It really hurts, but maybe the pain has gone down a little bit in the last few days. There is no swelling anymore, just this "poisoned" nerve.

Orienteering Forest (race) 53:43 [2] 5.9 km (9:06 / km)
(sick)

Why Just Run at Watershed Park. Fun course by Lehel. I updated the map recently, not to mention we have run there many times before, but I still had to read the map all the time to take the right trail in the maze. Andrea has been sick home this whole week and eventually my body could not fight it any more, so ran slowly with a bit of a runny nose and tight breathing.

Ran through a wasp nest in the last part of the course and got stung eight times. Many others got badly stung too.

Floorball 1:00:00 [3]

Floorball in West Van. Only 5 players showed up this time, so had to play 3 on 2, which created lots of space and lots of running. To score you had to hit the posts or the crossbar!

Orienteering City/Park 37:30 [3] 4.9 km (7:39 / km)

Brand new map downtown by tnipen. Around two large stadiums with elevated walkways and many stairs. 3D orienteering! Very challenging. Got caught a couple of times in dead ends. Great stuff!

Running wise took it easy. Felt so so after a long break from training.

Biking 1:07:00 [2] 15.0 km (4:28 / km)

Leisurely bike on Lynn Valley and Delbrook neighborhood streets. Plenty of steeps climbs. "New" bike that I got from Adrian. Simple commuter style "mountain" bike, but it works. Was mysteriously abandoned in Adrian's garage many years ago and no one ever claimed it. Stolen?
