Orienteering Forest 33:16 [4]

Training at Highrock park with Thomas and Louise the day after the wedding. Andrea designed 4 short loops. Even if I made the map it was a lot of fun. Really love this little park.

Running Rough 37:00 [2]

Slow run with Thomas and Louise at Thetis. Some really really sweet terrain with open forests on the section that VICO does not have permission to use for events.

My left achilles started to hurt more and more towards the end. Might have to take a long serious recovery time with this...

Did not feel any pain in the achilles, so jogged part of the memory-O in Confederation Park. Let's see how the foot feels tomorrow.

Running Rough 1:30:50 [3] 11.96 km (7:36 / km) +558m 6:10 / km

Trail run with Louise, Nate and Troy on the hottest day of the year. Up behind the house to BP and then down to the Lynn loop. Upper trail to the meadow and then back along the river. Very tired at the end, not in shape. Plus definitely tendinitis in my left achilles now.

Short run behind the house. Now both of my achilles tendons were tight and sore... did a stretching stop after 10 min and again after the run. Ran into a bear again! He was down in a ditch next to the trail and climbed up the other side when I came by. It was a small guy this time.

Warm-up.

Orienteering City/Park 28:44 [4]

WET at Jericho. Mass start with 3 different loops. Veg overgrown in some places, but a good run. New Belgian friend Gilles was fast at 25 min.

The day after my training run in Novy Bor I had this hip pain, which then got worse for the next few days before it started to get better. Yesterday was the first day it was completely gone, and I did not feel it during the run tonight. However, now my knee hurts instead... ;)
