| Orienteering Forest race (middle) 48:25 [4] 6.51 km (7:26 / km) | ||

| Race on the Silver Valley West map, in connection with a Cadet/Scout event GVOC put on. A fun course with lots of controls and change of direction. A fair bit of trail running, but hard to avoid in this area. I didn't have any mistakes really, except taking non-optimal routes to a few control, but I know the area by heart, having made the map. (How many times have I written this in the log?)
Hit my knee hard on a log, above the knee cap so I think it'll be ok, but it hurts surprisingly much now. Not running the next couple of days, for sure. | ||

| Spent all day on the Aspen Grove map, which will be used for Sage Stomp this year, making updates for the recent logging in the area. Hours of hiking in the snow, a very long day. | ||

| Badminton with Chi Ho and Vincent. We played some two against one stuff and two singles. Single against Chi Ho is the most fun. I have to work really hard against him to stand a chance. | ||

| Amazing spring day at Jericho and a nice WET on the map I made exactly a year ago. Vegitation here is crazy, so already lots of changes in the terrain. Maybe took it a bit easy at the start, but sped up a bit as I caught up with Thomas. | ||

| Intervals on the stairs up from the beach at UBC. I got brutalized! I did the first one way too fast and then had bad lactic on all the rest. Maybe if I had done them at 2:15 I would have been able to be consistent.
