Hiking 4:00:00 [2]

Telemark ski trip up to Mount Brew. Physically and mentally tough slog up the mountain. Andrea's rented boots hurt her feet badly and we switched. Lucky I have small feet! Higher up the mountain the snow was wet in the intense sunshine and stuck to our skins in 5 pound clumps. At this time we had also run out of water to drink... We considered turning around just when the trip was saved by a group of skiers going down the mountain that had some wax. This stopped the snow from sticking to the skis. The whole trek took us almost 8 hours of hard work. Fantastic terrain around the hut for beginner downhill skiing. Logging part of the uphill effort.

Floorball 1:00:00 [4]

Training and match play with the "elite" group. The play felt a bit odd this time, not so good flow and a bit lazy play from some players. Mostly played defense and it was less intense than previously.

Skiing - Skate 1:05:00 [3] 14.0 km (4:39 / km) +250m 4:16 / km

Skiing at Cypress. Started down to the lower trails. Extremely slow snow on the lower trails. Much better from the power line and higher. Went to the very top again. Heart rate was high on the big climbs.

Running Smooth 25:00 [2]

Warm-up/cool-down.

Orienteering City/Park (wet) 31:56 [4] 7.3 km (4:22 / km)

Handicap mass start, skip controls in box based on your age. Didn't skip any, even though I have the right age to do it :) Felt surprisingly good in my running after a period of little training. Kept up to Thomas and finished a few seconds behind only (though he did have a few minor bobbles). I think the intense floorball trainings have actually kept my legs snappy.
