Skinkaloppet in Lynn Valley. Could not defend my title from last year. Over 4 minutes slower than my prediction!

Easy run around some trails behind the house.

Warm-up.

Orienteering City/Park 43:02 [4] 8.67 km (4:58 / km) +201m 4:27 / km

Dog-bones by JR at Byrne Creek. Took 30 seconds to decide on what to do. Started with 7A and finished with 6B. 2B was by the road, as the trail had disappeared. Wimped out to 4B and ran around the ravine and probably lost some time on that. Had a total brain-fart between 3A and 8A, leaving 3A in the wrong direction and running around too much. Also hesitated along the trail coming into 8A, as I did not see the little trails in the dark and was unsure how far I had gone. 4:30 behind Thomas...

Pulled some small muscle in the left hip area and I can feel it just walking today...
