Ice Skating 5:44 [2] 1.36 km (4:13 / km) +1m 4:12 / km

One loop of ice skating on lake Hovrasjön, while the family was sitting on the ice having a snack. With the wind in the back you can hit 3 min/km without barely moving a muscle...

Running - Trail 46:25 [3] 10.02 km (4:38 / km) +43m 4:32 / km

Run home from the lake along Sörmlandsleden, then along the river and through town. Pushed a decent pace.

Night-O Cup in super sweet open pine forest on a new map. Little hook to 1 so had to wait a bit to punch in the train. Then pushed hard and moved into lead by 3 with a mob of lights chasing behind. Hook to 7 so back in train again, but able to get back into lead by 9. After the loops it was starting to thin out but I could see a few lights about 30 seconds back. It's sooo hard to pull away at night when the followers can see your little hooks and just go straight for the flag themselves. Anyway, I was slightly faster and coming into the second last control I had a 45 sec gap. Only problem was the control was a pit in featureless green... of course I didn't nail it and got passed by two guys. Anyway these night-O mass starts are just great fun. Ran the middle distance course again because of the achilles.

O-training in nice terrain close to town I have not been to before. Ran without compass. Mistake to 1 as I made a hook to the right approaching the control. At 3 I couldn't make sense of the map in the circle and looking too soon. Then good until 12 where I was just being stupid. A bit hilly and good training. +5 and sunny out. No gloves, no problem. Marshes are chunky ice water though...
