Orienteering - Forest - Training 46:09 [3] 6.68 km (6:54 / km) +51m 6:39 / km

3-club training in Nävekvarn. Ran around the first part of the course, because it was really ugly on clear cuts and dark green marshes, and started with control 4 in flat-ish terrain. Control 10 to 16 was control picking on a fantastic ridge with open hilltops and big boulders, then skipped the green stuff again and took the last few controls. Knee felt good again. Most snow gone.

Orienteering - Forest - Race 54:06 [4] **** 7.16 km (7:33 / km) +28m 7:24 / km
spiked:10/12c

Night-O cup #6 in 20 cm powder at Ryssbergen. Tried to follow Peter Öberg's pace towards the first control, but then towards the second I was suffering and had to drop down in the train a bit. Out in the first butterfly I just couldn't keep Henrik's pace in the deep snow, so on the second butterfly I was completely alone. Towards 9 the tracks in the snow went off in different directions and I lost 2 min in the flat indistinct area. Towards 10 I started to feel some pain in the back/inside of the left knee and I figured it was too much heavy knee lifting in the snow. Joined back with Per Öberg at the hub at 11, after I stopped to stretch a bit, and then we missed 12 together. I jogged home from there. It had warmed up to -2, but it was windy as warmer air was coming in. +5 next morning and melting.

Time to rest a bit. Outside of the left knee has been stiff and sore for three weeks and now also sore behind on the inside.
