Steady run on Heritage trail...25% of planned distance @ 20% Marathon pace. I anticipated to complete the rest of the run @ 10% Marathon pace but I destroyed that feat. I basically completed 11.25 miles @ 08.54 pace. My anticipated goal for my first OFFICIAL Half-Marathon was to break 2 hours, but I achieved this feat on this training run by completing the Half-Marathon distance @ 1:58:38. My legs held up well, I felt really strong and still had enough in the tank after 15 miles to pick up a faster pace.
**My New goal: complete Half-Marathon in 1:55:00.**
