Hamstring strength poor R 9 L 13.5
no running until R = L and over 15

I'm pretty sure that this is weaker than normal due to getting things a bit stirred up on the myb this morning

Mtb (Bardon) 1:08:00 [3] 9.9 km (6:52 / km) +332m 5:53 / km

the trails are pretty overgrown and even more eroded than they used to be, unrideable in places. The end of the circuit used to be a bit sketchy with the A line pretty rough and B line ok, now the A line is agh and the B line is sketchy. I'm fairly sure that the climbs are not ok for my hamstring rehab. I'll ride Daisy on Sunday but then will do more roadie until I'm allowed to run again

very easy loop, I think road is ok for my hamstring, even the climbs were comfortable, mind you we couldn'y have gone much slower

lots of fun. Easy training but glad I showed up and had a spin. Fiona was amazing over the jumps

Swimming (UQ sprints) 10:00 [3] 2.1 km (4:46 / km)

the pool was like soup, I couldn't swim wearing a cap. After the warm up we did short reps on slow time base and getting out every few lengths to walk back. Sensible set for the conditions

Pilates (Studio Pilates) 45:00 [3]

very good session with lots of quad work. Instructor is Max Hobson's step mum so when she found out who I was she decided I would be fine with lots of extra resistance for quad work. Legs were burning

Triathlon race (TreX) 3:15:00 [3] 42.0 km (4:39 / km)

great swim (28mins), probably a little long looking at garmin plots which show it to be between 1700 and 2000m
Nice ride, didn't bust a gut but felt I was going ok, until I stacked it on a sandy corner, small scratch and dented helmet, 30km - 1:36
Run - well this is where things got messy. 10.5km - 1:04
I beat Ana Oertel into transition off the bike - now thats a first and something I am extraordinarily proud of. We ran together for around 1.5km at a snails pace then she floated off into the distance. On the last lap I saw her again around 200m ahead of me with 2km to go, I got a move on but as I got closer she saw me and moved ahead, I didn't catch her. I had nothing to catch her with. She was really suffering at the finish and gave me the wettest, most disgusting hug ever. I was soaked in double sweat in 37C, couldn't jump in the dam quick enough.
Crap run - it will be enough to qualify for worlds.
Beat Lucie by 9 mins, she's in the age group below. She got silver and I got nothing, no wait, I got sunburn
