orienteering 1:04:55 [5] 7.9 km (8:13 / km) +220m 7:13 / km

CSCup, Timble Ings, Short Brown. Mostly good, took lots of direct routes which was good if it was light green or even mid green, but very hard work in the knee deep bilberry white. Caught James L two minutes at 10 (about a third of the course), but the next leg was over a k uphill on paths then bilberries and he got the two minutes back off me straight away, then another 6 minutes on the rest of the course. I lost about a minute and a half at 12, circling around a tiny reentrant hidden in the green. Other than that no mistakes.

3rd, behind Aidan Rigby on 58.5 and James on 59.

I think Aire qualified in 2nd behind SYO.

Fast to Bywater. The problem with my leg seems to have pretty much gone away after I made myself sit up straight for a day.

twice round the block, no time for much else. Still bothered by pain down the right leg. I'm inclined to think it is sciatic related.

Still a bit sore down the right leg but moving ok.
